Helen Rees

Helen Rees is an experienced underwriter with 20 years in the Lloyd’s of London market with a strong background in the US and Canadian Binding Authority market.  She has extensive expertise in Property Underwriting, Delegated Underwriting Authorities (DUA) and Portfolio Management.

Over the past decade, Helen has played a key role in developing and delivering In-house Technical Training for both junior underwriting staff and companywide teams.  Her training programmes include ‘Back to Basics’ sessions to more specialised modules tailored to the business needs.  More recently she was involved in establishing a comprehensive, companywide underwriter training programme.
